Revolutionary Anomaly Krista McGee Books

Revolutionary wraps up the Anomaly trilogy with a "splash"! Dr. Loudin is set on destroying everyone and everything outside the State. Only Thalli and her friends can stop him. They must risk their lives and stand up to Loudin before everyone they love is gone.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the subtle love triangle with Thalli, Alex and Berk. It wasn't forced or overdone. A good love-triangle is hard to pull off and Krista McGee executed hers perfectly. I liked that book 3 had a little more romance in it. I'm a sucker for love stories so I loved the scenes with this trio the best.

Top Three Reasons to read Revolutionary:

A) It’s Dystopian fiction written from a Christian worldview. In other words, Revolutionary is CLEAN! There are a few kisses, all of which are completely tasteful and well-written. I love the fact that I can share this series with my girls during their teen years. Revolutionary is Mom Approved!

B) Krista’s writing is phenomenal. Her descriptions are beautiful and vivid. Her dialogue is fast-paced and relevant. All 5 senses were ignited throughout the book. I saw what Thalli saw and felt what she felt. I was confused with her when she had tough decisions to make, and I cried with her over the loss of loved ones, especially at the very end of this third installment. Her characters are real and three-dimensional. As an author, Krista hasn’t disappointed me yet.

C) Finally, I loved the world Krista built. With so much Dystopian YA on the market today, it can be hard to find something new and unique. Thalli’s world jumps right of the page, drawing you in and making you a part of her generation.

Comments Book 3 was not a disappointment. Some really big surprises in the beginning, but ended as you would expect. Contained elements of love, friendship and forgiveness.
This series was a refreshing spin on dystopian fiction. I didn't want to put it down. I loved that the main character never gave up on the "villain" trusting that hate was not the answer. Even though they are fictional characters, they inspired me to live out my faith in a stronger way!
Each book got better as the adventure went on. It tended to get more religious, also, as it progressed. It wasn't offensive to me, but reminded me of certain beliefs. It was still more of a sci-fi novel, than a religious book.
I ordered all the books in this trilogy for my almost 13 yo daughter. She'd read Hunger Games, Matched, Divergent, and The Maze Runner series.
I was trying to find something new and appropriate. It can be hard when you have an advanced reader to find good books that hold their interest, and this series did! We both highly recommend it.
Living above ground has changed her.
After months of living above ground, Thalli is thrust back into the State.
Now, she must destroy the State, once and for all.
With the help of Berk, Rhen, Dallas, Alex, Dr James, and God, can Thalli overcome the State? Or will darkness reign forever?
Warning carry tissues!

Revolutionary was a glorious ending to the beautiful Anomaly trilogy. Between the romance and suspense, I was drawn in and couldn't put the book down! This book truly gives meaning to the line spoken in the first book
"Death is only the beginning."
I don't spoil things, but there is death in this book. Make sure you carry a box of tissues with you. You will need them!
Recommended to all YA lovers! Start with book one!
Thalli is held hostage by Loudin as he makes Kristie work on the oxygen in the State. As Thalli learns more and more about his dark plans to change the world in unstoppable ways, she knows they have to stop him. But how can they, when Loudin seems to have everything - absolutely everything - under control? And why is the Designer not doing anything?

Revolutionary is the last book in the Anomaly trilogy. This story is like the first two - Anomaly and Luminary - in that it has plot twists you would have never imagined and is written in a way that will keep you turning pages. It shows you that, even when you don't feel that God is near you, He is and He'll turn everything that seems to be going wrong into something beautiful.

Personally, I thought the ending could have been bigger, but that does not stop me from eagerly awaiting Krista McGee's next book.
